FIRST LEGO LEAGUE VOLUNTEERS

We love our volunteers! You are essential to providing an engaging experience for the teams in our region. We hope you get involved and stay involved. There are opportunities for adults and students who need volunteer service hours.

Coach or Mentor a Team

You don’t need any technical experience to coach or mentor a FIRST® LEGO® League team. All that’s required is your dedication to providing a rewarding, hands-on STEAM experience.

Mentors can share their expertise with teams at practices. Teams can benefit from your experience doing research, understanding the engineering process, coding, working together, and learning about the season theme. We can connect you with teams.

Coaching

Coaching is a fun and exciting way to support the Innovators of Tomorrow. The region provides training for new and experienced coaches each season. We can also connect you with experienced coaches who can guide you on your coaching journey.

Volunteer at an Event

Be part of the action at a scrimmage or tournament. We have a variety of rewarding untrained and trained roles. We have opportunities for everyone.

All volunteers must complete FIRST‘s Youth Protection Program screening. Screening is free of charge. You can make a donation to cover the screening costs if you’d like.
